Extending Pool & Deck Cover

Building on the Mutandor® concept developed by EEX (also member of the HSD Associates), TBV has in collaboration with a reputable Dutch superyacht design organization developed an extending (movable) pool & deck cover for the yachting industry.

The yachting Mutandor® consists of a number of movable frames fitted with glass panels. On the stern end, a pivoting frame with glass is installed to allow for closing off the area completely.

The movable frames can also be operatedseparately, e.g. allowing for partially covering the pool area to provide shelter from the wind.

Moreover, the yacht Mutandor® can be combined with TBV’s knowledge and experience with movable pool floors. This way, the pool area can be used for other purposes and festivities too.
